From this site, you can track preliminary work creating an XML version of An Inventory of Greek Coin Hoards.
The contents at present include nearly 1/3 of the listings in the print volume, with complete coverage of the Archaic and Classical periods in all regions.
In the spring semester of 2004, coverage is being extended to bring all regions down to about 250 B.C. This will bring the total number of hoards represented to about 1100.
All entries are currently unproofed. We are looking into different ways of post processing online material to automate verification of data entry.
